LATE INFORMATIONS

Welcome to the University of Rennes to enjoy the 2nd International Green Catalysis Symposium and Advanced Spring School on Green Chemistry”. Please find hereafter some informations concerning the symposium.

The LECTURES will be held in Hall A (Beaulieu Campus Building 2)

Information for speakers – Audiovisual equipments

The oral session hall will be equipped with the following audio-visual equipment (Windows W7 and Office 2010), 1 screen, 1 laser pointer, 1 Lavalier microphone.

PC compatible presentations: if using a Power-Point presentation, we kindly ask you to bring it on an “USB-flashdisk” and load it onto the computer located in the conference hall during the coffee breaks, at least ½ day before your presentation.

Presenters are asked to save the files by surname and initial.

To avoid technical problems speakers considering the use of additional audio-visual equipment (movies…) or intending to present from a Macintosh computer are requested to bring their own laptop,

 If using a Macintosh computer, please ensure that it has a VGA socket for external signal.

 Please remember to check your computer in the session hall at least during the coffee or lunch break prior to your session.

Internet Access

Wireless connexion is possible in the conference main site (building 2A). The Eduroam network is available on the campus.You will also have the possibility to get a 3-day account ticket at the conference secretariat.

Lunches

Lunches will be taken in front of the lecture hall, building 2A.

 

How to join The Beaulieu campus from the center of Rennes (Place de la république)

Bus line n° 4 (direction Beaulieu-Atalante) or line N° 6 (direction Cesson-Sévigné) : stop at Tournebride station

It will take you to the main entrance of the university in 10-15 minutes from the city centre.

General Informations

Location

The conference will be held at the University of Rennes 1, located at 4 km from the city centre on the Campus of Beaulieu (main entrance: 263 avenue du général Leclerc) .

Rennes, the historical capital of Brittany, is located 350 km west from Paris

Bus lines n° 4 or 6 (direction Beaulieu-Atalante and Cesson-Sévigné, stop at Tournebride) will take you to the main entrance of the university in 10-15 minutes from the city centre.

 

How to come to Rennes?

By train

From Paris-Montparnasse train station, high speed trains will reach Rennes in 2h- 2h30.
High speed trains are also available from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport. They reach Rennes in 3h.

By air

Rennes airport is located 5 km south from the city centre.

It is also possible to fly to Dinard from London Stansted airport, visit http://www.ryanair.com
Dinard is located on the north coast near Saint-Malo (65 km from Rennes). Train service is available between Saint-Malo and Rennes.
